It’s hard to believe that it hasn’t even been a month since we left Singapore.
In this month, we’ve moved from the grey skies of Chengdu to the turquoise pools and rambling waterfalls of Jiuzhaigou to the vast grasslands near Zoige to the azure forests of Qingcheng Shan to the Winter Highlands of Tibet…
And as I am writing this, we are traipsing through the Gobi Desert (in a 4WD that is going slightly too fast for comfort).
Our next stop would be the Silk Road “interchange” of Dunhuang, and we’ll be slowing down a bit while we are there. We’re thinking of finding a comfortable hotel with internet access and taking a break there to take stock.
In the meantime… we are rocking it… Gobi Desert Style!!
